“Tyler was someone I got to get to know very well over the course of my first summer and season becoming a pro. I honestly can say I’m not sure I would have had the positive start to my season I did without him.
Coming in as a hurt, underrated rookie with a sprained MCL, Tyler single-handedly saved the beginning of my NBA career. This happened through hours of treatment and research on ways he could get me back on the court as quickly and effectively as possible. One of the things that stuck with me during that process was that he didn’t just want to get me back to playing how I was before, he wanted me to come back faster, stronger, better. This was not the case with many people I worked with before. Tyler dedicated his time and energy and took pride in accepting the challenge to get me back fast and better than before. Since we were together every day, I saw first hand how dedicated and motivated he is to get better every day to be the best he can be. I learned so much just by observing him and his approach to his craft.
I’m grateful to have met Tyler when I did and I'm very thankful for what he has done for me and my career."
-Caleb Martin, Miami Heat
The gap between Athletic Training theory and practice leaves you guessing when creating rehab plans. Your patients aren't improving as fast as they should, and they're feeling the pain. You're left feeling unfulfilled, unsure, and stuck in your career.
Hey there,
As a fellow professional in sports performance and rehabilitation, I understand your challenges. We're often walking a tightrope, striving to provide the best care for our patients while continuously evolving our knowledge base in an ever-changing field. It's a journey that can feel overwhelming and, at times, isolating.
My name is Dr. Tyler Lesher, and I’ve dedicated my academic and decade-long professional career to understanding the intricate art and science of sports performance. It was during my Bachelor's in Athletic Training that I developed a vision - to work with elite athletes, facilitating their recovery and aiding their performance. To realize this vision, I sought further education, completing my Master's in Kinesiology, and then a Doctorate in Health Science & Exercise Leadership. Alongside these, I've earned several certification designations including CSCS, CES, PES, FRCms, DN, SMT, FMS, and C-OPE.
The path led me to some remarkable opportunities. From working with the NBA Champions Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Charlotte Hornets, to the UCLA Men's Basketball team, I have been privileged to lend my expertise across various sports contexts. Each position has provided invaluable experiences, and I’ve been able to apply and perfect my methods in different contexts, from professional leagues to university-level sports.
Yet, it's not the positions held or qualifications earned that define my career. Rather, it's the athletes I've supported, and the difference I've made. Being on the front lines, aiding athletes in overcoming their challenges, and watching them emerge stronger, faster, and better, truly gives my work meaning.
That's why I've developed the Advanced Rehab Certification - an evidence-based, cutting-edge course designed to elevate your skills, confidence, and practice to new heights.
It's more than just a program - it's a commitment to making the best of our field available to you, and to all of us. It's about ensuring that we, as a community, grow together, learning, improving, and excelling in our respective careers.
To our collective growth,
Dr. Tyler Lesher

This course is the perfect blend of movement assessment, rehabilitation, and strength/conditioning. The biggest piece I see missing in Athletic Training and Chiropractic education is applied rehab which this course completes. In strength and conditioning, the acute and short-term care of the injured rehab athletes is very brief, which this course does a fantastic job of expanding on.
Michael Theile ATC, Texas Rangers
This course will change how you think about the traditional rehab model. Will open your mind to a true “performance” model that makes you think about the body as a whole and not just the specific injury.
Ernest Eugene
“This course is a must have tool in your toolbox
Are you wondering if the Advanced Rehab Certification is the right fit for you? While we can't do the work for you or guarantee a specific job outcome, we can promise that your commitment to the course will significantly enhance your skills and career prospects in the rehabilitation and performance fields.
Moreover, as part of the course, you'll become part of a supportive network that can help accelerate your career in the sector.
However, it's important to note that this course might not be suitable for everyone.
❌ This course isn't for you if:
-> You're solely interested in accumulating certifications. The Advanced Rehab Certification isn't just about adding credentials to your CV. You'll be required to immerse yourself in research, complete assignments, apply your newfound knowledge in your current role and undertake a capstone project and final exam to earn the certification.
-> You're not open to the philosophy of collective growth. The Advanced Rehab Certification isn't a solitary journey. The value of learning from and interacting with others in the community is immeasurable. If you're not prepared to engage with other professionals to enhance the group's collective learning, this course might not be the right fit for you.
-> You're seeking a quick fix for a career in top-tier rehab and performance facilities. Career development doesn't work that way. If you're not willing to put in the effort and fully engage in both learning and applying the course material, this program may not suit your needs.
✅ On the other hand, this course is ideal for you if:
-> You're eager to fully engage with the course material, complete all assignments, apply your learnings in real-world situations, and actively engage with your peers. If you're passionate about enhancing your skills and contributing to the learning community, you'll find the Advanced Rehab Certification extremely beneficial and a valuable member of our community.

This course is a GAME CHANGER! I can’t wait to start implementing the information I learned in my practice as an Athletic Trainer
What I liked the most was the educational materials presented. What I expected was not even a fourth of what I got out of this course. Everything was beneficial for me and my athletes.
Olivia Eweni MS, LAT, ATC, SMTC
Tyler has a unique and very useful perspective on integrating rotational and whole-body movements into rehab. He looks at things others have put to the side and sees the value in how they can positively influence his athlete’s healing.
Chloe Davis, ATC, LAT
I recommend the course to strength coaches and sports scientists who want to get a better understanding of the rehab process and how to blend the information into your return-to -play protocols.

If I am being 100% honest, I thought this was going to be a bit dry and boring, I thought I would have it on in the background like several of my other CEUs and kind of just "get through it." Well, I binged all 8 sessions in just 2 days and it was the polar opposite. This course is nothing like any other live or recorded CEU I have ever completed, and I am pumped that you are able to offer it to so many different individuals and disciplines!
Nina Ewing, ATC
I really liked the approach of the course. It broadened my view of rehab and how to incorporate the whole body through rehab and return to play
